Sarah Dishman was mentioned in the 3 June 1830 will of her brother Obed Gray, proved 16 August 1830. I lend to Aunt Jane Dishman the balance of estate real and personal. After her death, half of estate real in personal in trust to friend William Gravatt for the benefit, support and maintenance of my sister Sarah Dishman and her children, free and clear of any control of her husband, so that the same shall not be subject to the payment of his debts or to his order.
