William Wright was mentioned in the 16 May 1830 will of his brother, Benjamin Wright, proved 15 November 1830, and was named executor. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, pages 163–164.]

On 15 November 1830, William Wright and George Wright were bound in the penalty of $3,000 for William Wright’s executorship on the estate of Benjamin Wright. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, page 164.]

On 18 May 1835, William Wright, Robert M Dairs and Robert Wright were bound in the penalty of $200 for William Wright’s administration of the estate of Alexander Houston. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 23, page 341.]
