Mamie Woelfel attended the funeral of Catherine Schnieder Thomas in 1957, giving her address as 16 N. Luzerne Avenue.

On 10 July 1961, a death notice in The Baltimore Sun stated:
WOELFEL.—On July 7, 1961, MARIE (MAMIE), of 16 North Luzerne avenue, beloved daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Woelfel and beloved sister of Mrs. Anna J. Schmitt, of New York and Mrs. Barbara Mathis.
Funeral services from the Bernard Dabrowski Funeral Home, 2818 East Baltimore street, on Wednesday at 8:15 A.M. Requiem High Mass at Saint Elizabeth’s Church at 9 A.M. Interment in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Visiting hours from 2 til 9 P.M.
