On 27 December 1805, a division of the slaves belonging to the estate of William B. Sale was made by John Jones, W Fisher, and Micajah Munday. In addition to a widow’s dower, eight equal lots went to Fielding Sale, John Rouzie & Wife, Nancy Sale, Polly Sale, Arrenia Sale, Kitty Sale, Oswald Sale, and Hortens Sale (also listed as Hawkins or Hawtins). The will of Oswald B. Sale was dated 8 September 1829. All estate to brother Fielding Sale, including my interest in the dower of my mother Nancy Sale, Fielding to be executor. Signed Oswald B Sale.
