The will of Sally Smether was dated 26 November 1829. Son William B. Smether. Daughter Sally N. Smether. Sons Lewis E. Smether, Ryburn M. Smether, Joseph E. Smither and daughter Martha M. Smether. Additional bequests to Caty V. Griffin, George K. Smether, Winslow B. Smether, and Lucy G. Samuel whose husband is Zachariah Samuel, all of whom seem to be additional children. On 21 December 1829, Winslow B. Smether and Robert Hill were bound in the penalty of $200 for Winslow B. Smether’s administration of the estate of Sally Smether, deceased.
