In October 1884, Thomas Moore of Yonkers, Westchester County, New York, and Nancy, his wife, sold to Albert William Cutbill. For $4,950, a lot in the Town of Yonkers, beginning at a point on the southwesterly side of Oliver Avenue, distant two hundred and seventy nine feet south easterly from the south westerly side of Walnut Street, and running thence southwesterly along the southeasterly side of a lot of land belonging to Samuel Granger one hundred and twenty-three feet (123) to land formerly belonging to John Craft, thence southeasterly along said land formerly of Craft and along land now or formerly of Mrs. Berrian, twenty seven feet (27) to land of Thomas Chadderten, thence north easeterly along the northwesterly side of said Cahdderten’s land one hundred and twenty (128) feet to the south westerly side of Oliver Avenue, aforesaid, thence north westerly along the south westerly side of Oliver Avenue, thirty two feet and six inches (32 ft. 6 in.) to the point or place of beginning. Subject, however, to a mortgage made by Thomas Moore and wife to William F. Lawrence to secure the sum of $2650 and interest as therein expressed, which said mortgage was assigned to and is now held by James C. On 24 December 1892, Thomas Moore of Yonkers, Westchester County, sold to Nancy Moore, wife of the said Thomas Moore of the first part. For $1, all the land conveyed to Thomas Moore by Eliza A Underhill and Edward Underhill by deed dated 19 April 1889, Beginning at a point on the South Westerly side of Oliver Avenue distant two hundred and seventy nine feet South Easterly from the South Easterly side of Walnut Street and running thence South Westerly along the South Easterly side of a lot of land belonging to Samuel Granger One hundred and twenty three feet to land formerly belonging to John Craft, thence South Easterly along said land formerly of Craft and along land now or formerly of Mrs Berrian twenty seven feet to land of Thomas Chadderton thence North Easterly along the North Westerly side of said Chaddertons land one hundred and twenty eight feet to the South Westerly side of Oliver Avenue aforesaid, thence North Westerly along the South Westerly side of Oliver Avenue thirty two feet, and six inches to the place of beginning.. SEVERAL CASES FOR THE CORONER.
Coroner Weisendager was summoned and arrived here yesterday afternoon, and at the inquest rendered a verdict according to the facts. The coroner also issued a permit to allow the relatives of the dead young man to have the body removed to Brooklyn.
Nancy Moore, aged 78 years, died last night at her home at 124 Oliver avenue. Coroner Wiesendager was notified and this morning signed the death certificate rendering the sudden cause of death to be from heat prostration.
