On December 10, 1970, EMMETT G., of South Decker avenue, beloved husband of Ida Davis (nee Stevens) and devoted father of Mrs. Virginia Smit, Mrs. Arlene Der, Messrs. Harry and Joseph Davis. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. ¶Services at Matthews Funeral Home, 3021 Eastern avenue (at Decker avenue), on Monday at 9:30 A.M. Interment in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. DAVIS United Transportation Union, Local No. 454, announces with deep regret the death of a beloved member, EMMETT G. DAVIS.

The death book for Mount Carmel Cemetery Annex in Baltimore, Maryland states that Emmett G. Davis died on 10 December 1970 and was buried on 14 December 1970. He died at 506 S. Decker Avenue, age 75. Cause of death not listed. He is buried in the annex lot I, 875-1/2, 1st grave from west.
