Peter T. Campbell married Milly A. Boughan on 10 February 1881 in Essex County. He was 24, single (not widowed), born in Caroline County and living in King William County. She was 22, single, born in Essex County and living in Essex County. Parents were Peter T. Campbell and Mary E. Kidd, and Thomas Boughan and Mary Wood. Peter was a hauler of timber. The marriage date is further confirmed by the South Farnham Parish Register, 1870–1901, which states that Peter Thomas Campbell married Milly A. Boughan on 1881 Feb’y 10 by Rev. Everard Meade “in the country”. [South Farnham Parish Register, 1870–1901, p. 126, copy at the Virginia State Archives.]

On 1 November 1888, Peter T. Campbell and Mildred Campbell his wife sold to Arthur Jackson. For $50, 20 acres, more or less, bounded by James H. Taylor Sr, Preston Gresham, John M. Owen, and Peter T. On 26 May 1890, Peter T. Campbell and Millie A. Campbell his wife, Willie L. Campbell and Lula C. Campbell his wife, Justin Derieux and Mollie E. Derieux his wife, and Mary E. Campbell widow of Peter T. Campbell sold to James E. Rogers. 66 acres bounded by J. M. Owen, Joseph Cauthorn, the lands of Peter T. Campbell deceased, Jas H. Taylor deceased, it being a portion of the land Peter T. Campbell died possessed of. Signed P T Campbell, M A Campbell, W L Campbell, L C Campbell, Justin Derieux, M E Derieux, M E Campbell. On 25 December 1894, Peter T. Campbell and Millie A. his wife executed a deed of trust to W. J. Haile. The land on which the late Peter T. Campbell lived, 59 acres in all, conveyed by Peter T. Campbell and Millie A. his wife in trust to secure to James E. Rogers payment of $43.90 with interest from 1 January 1895 until paid. Signed Peter T. Campbell, Millie A. Campbell. On 1 May 1900, Justin L. Derieux and M. E. Derieux his wife, Peter T. Campbell and M. A. Campbell his wife, Willie L. Campbell and L. K. Campbell his wife sold to Philip Moody. For $150, 30 acres, part of the land of the late Peter T. Campbell, bounded by Etta Taylor and R. H. Dunn, the tract being called Allens. Signed J. L. Derieux, M. E. Derieux, P. T. Campbell, M. A. On 12 October 1901, P. T. Campbell and Millie A. Campbell his wife sold to George W. Longest. For $300, land on the road leading from Howertons to Millers, 59 acres by actual survey, conveyed to P. T. Campbell by Mary E. Campbell, Willie E. Campbell and his wife and Justin Derieux and his wife by deed dated 25 May 1893. Signed P. T. Campbell, Millie A. Campbell. On 8 November 1919 in the city of Petersburg, Dinwiddie County, Virginia, Mildred Ann Campbell died. She lived at 401 Harding, and had lived in the city where death occurred for 18 years. She was female, white, a widow, born on 12 Feburary (no year listed), age about 62, occupation at home, born in Essex County, Virginia. Father was John Baughan, born in Virginia; mother was Mary Wood, born in Virginia. Informant was P. T. Campbell of Chesterfield County, Virginia. She was attended by a physician from 5 November to 8 November, and time of death was 9:35 p.m., from apoplexy, duration 3 days. Burial on 10 November 1919 at Blandford Cemetery. In the birth record of her daughter Sallie, Milly’s name is listed as Mildreda (perhaps this was supposed to be Mildred A.); in the birth record of Lucy it’s listed as Mildred.
