Sally Munday was mentioned in the 2 October 1811 will of her father, James Munday, proved on 17 November 1811. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 17, pages 325–326.]

On 4 January 1815, a division of the slaves belonging to the estate of James Munday was made by Micajah Munday, James Hunter and William Garnett, with equal distribution valued at $1,035.50 each to six legatees, to wit William Younger, Sally Munday, Edmund Munday, Thomas Munday, Muscoe Munday, and Mereday Munday. Ordered recorded on 16 January 1815. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 99–100.]

Sally Munday was mentioned in the 14 November 1831 will of her uncle, Micajah Munday, presented in court 19 March 1832. To niece Sally Munday the plantation I purchased of Thomas Coleman and slaves Ben, Charles & Sam & Edy. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 23, pages 102–105.]

The will of Sarah Munday of the County of Essex was dated 20 November 1835. Lends to husband Benjamin H. Munday during his life all estate. To brother Merideth Munday negroes Harry and Billy, one bed and furniture and safe (now in the house near Loyds upon the farm of my said husband), and one cow and calf. Lends to brother Thomas Munday man Sam, and if Thomas should leve a child, then the slave should go to the child. To Nicy Stokes my trunk. Land to go to children of my brother Edmund Munday, but shall not be rented out untill the youngest of them is 21; at that time land is to be sold, and for this Benjamin H. Munday and Meredith Munday are to be trustees. To Delila Stokes and Joanna Stokes a small trunk each. To niece Susanna Burke all the rest, but she to pay her sisters $100 in cash. James Burke the husband of my said neice to be executor. Signed Sarah her X mark Munday. Witnesses: Warner Lewis, Arthur T Sale. Proved on 19 July 1841 by Warner Lewis. James Burke obtained letters of probate with Warner Lewis as security of $500. Proved on 19 February 1844 by Arthur T. Sale and ordered recorded.
