Benjamin B. Haile was mentioned in the 1824 will of his mother Sarah Haile. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 20, pages 297–299.]
In an undated petition, orator Samuel J. Dawson and oratrix Catharine E his wife who was Catharine E. Haile, a daughter of John Haile decd. complained that John Haile died intestate leaving Catharine, Robert A. and Benjamin B. Haile his only children. That Robert G. Haile is the administrator of the estate. Robert and Benjamin are infants. Request for division of the estate. [Essex County, Virginia, Box Chancery No. 38, item 38-A-33.]
