On 14 March 1725, Bryant Edmondson of the parish of Southfarnham and County of Essex sold to John Croxton of the parish of Stratton Major and County of King and Queen. For £57 sterling money of England, land whereon Byant Edmondon now liveth, 150 acres more or less, in Southfarnham parish and Essex County, bounded by the lands of ffrancis Brown, John ffarguson, James ffarguson. Signed Bryant Edmondson. Witnesses: John ffargeson, Frances his T mark Right, Richd Wiltshire. Ordered recorded 15 March 1725. On the same day, Mary Edmondson wife of Bryant Edmondson relinquished right of Dower. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 18, page 166.]

Mary Haile was mentioned, as Mary Edmondson, in the 17 August 1744 will of her father John Haile. She was to receive an equal share of the estate. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 7, pages 214-216.]

The will of a Mary Edmondson of the parish of St. Anne and County of Essex was dated 6 February 1746. All estate to friend Robert Rose Clerk, who is to be executor. Signed Mary her M mark Edmondson. Witnesses: Robt Edmondson, John Edmondson, William his X mark Butler. Proved 20 December 1748. Rev. Robert Rose renounced executorship. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 8, page 102.]

On 20 December 1748, Robert Edmondson, Thomas Leeman and John Edmondson were bound £500 current money for Robert Edmondson’s execution of the last will and testament of a Mary Edmondson. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 8, pages 102–103.]

The inventory of the estate of a Mary Edmondson deceased was ordered 20 December 1748. Made on 16 January 1748 by Edward Rowzee Senr, Jeremiah Bizwell and Edward Rowzee jr. Total valuation £262.11.0. Recorded 21 February 1748. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 8, pages 180–181.]
