Elizabeth was mentioned in the 9 January 1686 will of her husband Henry Reeves. She was to have all personal estate and the plantation on which he lived during her life. She was appointed executrix with her son Henry. [Essex County, Virginia, Land Trials 1715-1741, pages 124–127.]
After the death of her husband Henry Reeves, Elizabeth rented out land to Henry Williams. [Essex County, Virginia, Land Trials 1715–1741, page 132.]
The will of Elizabeth Reeves of Essex County was dated 4 May 1709. Six children: Elizabeth, Henry, Rebeckah, Joseph, Martha and Mary. Grandson Edward Moseley. Grandson Thomas Munday. Daughter Ann Reeves executrix. Servant boy Samuel Henley. Signed Elizabeth her E mark Reeves. Witnesses: Thomas Munday [signed], John Jatte[?], Timmotha his H mark Dayle. Proved 14 February 1711. On 14 February 1711, Edwd Coleman, Ann her A mark Coleman, Robt Coleman and Thomas Munday [signed] were bound £200 sterling on 14 February 1711 for Edward Coleman and Ann his wife late Ann Reeves who was granted probate of the will of Elizabeth Reeves.
