John Rowzee received a bequest in the 1742/1743 will of his godfather Thomas Starke. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 6, pages 428–429.]

On 17 April 1744, Mary Muscoe, John Rowzee and Augt Boughan were bound £500 for Mary Muscoe’s administration of the goods, chattles and credits of Jane Muscoe. Signed Mary Muscoe, Jno Rowzee, Aug Boughan. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 7, pages 141–143.]

On 16 and 17 June 1755, a John Rowzee witnessed a lease and release from Robert Brooking and Francis his wife of King and Queen County to James Garnett to Essex County. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 27, pages 115–119.]

On 15 September 1755, Willm Brown and Eliza his wife of the County of Essex and John Noell of the County of Orange sold to John Rowzee of the County of Essex. For 5,000 pounds of tobacco and £6.10 current money, two tracts totaling 110 acres in St. Anns Parish. My notes somewhat unclear. The first of 50 acres borders John Bowler, a tract given in like manner by Daniel Noel to his son John Noel, Bernard Noell, Cornelius Noell, Daniel Noell. Brown bought of Benja Noell. The second being land John Noell had of gift from his father Daniel Noell. Signed Wm his W mark Brown, Eliza her • mark Brown, John Noell. On 16 September 1755, a John Rowzee witnessed a deed from Thomas St. John and Amy his wife of the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham to John Clements of the same, Physician. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 27, pages 159–161.]

On 13 November 1756, a John Rowzee witnessed a deed from James Garnett, gentleman, to Cornelius Noel, yeoman, both of Essex County. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 27, pages 274–275.]
