On 15 July 1754, Henry Purkins and Elizabeth his wife of the Parish of Southfarnham sold to John Griggs jr of the same. For £85 current money of Virginia, 100 acres bordering land of Thomas Burk, John Griggs, the heirs of Richd St. John. Signed Henry Purkins, Elizabeth Purkins.
