On 21 March 1814, Patsey Brizendine, William Croxton, Chaney Brizendine and Thomas Dennett were bound in the penalty of $1,500 for Patsey Brizendin’e administration of the goods, chattels and credits of John Brizendine, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 5–6.]
