On 18 October 1802, Smallwood Coghill and Paul Micou entered into a bond in the penalty of $150 for Smallwood Coghill’s executorship of the last will and testament of Ewell A. Coghill. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 16, page 163.]

Paul Micou was mentioned as a deceased son in the 1821 will of his father Paul Micou. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 19, pages 280–282.]

On 16 July 1821, Paul Micou and John H. Micou were bound in the penalty of $8,000 for Paul Micou’s administration of the estate of Paul Micou Jr., deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 19, pages 218–219.]
