On 4 September 1753, “Henry Street is appointed Guardian to Mary Street Orphan of Richard Street decd, thereupon the said Henry together with Maurice Smith his Security enter’d into bond for the said Henry’s faithful Guardianship of the said Orphan, and Acknolwedged the same to be their act and deed, which is admitted to Record.” [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 86.]
On 3 December 1754, “Henry Street Guardian of Mary Street orphan of Richard Street decd return’d an accot of his Guardianship of the said Orphan, which being Examined, & also sworn to by the sd Henry, is admitted to Record.” [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 219.]
