E. E. (Buddy) Fogelson, president of Gibraltar Oil Corporation has announced election of Harry J. Russell to the office of vice president and his appointment as chief geologist of the company.
Russell, a resident of Midland, has been a geological consultant in Midland for the past six years. Prior that time he was district geologist for Gulf Oil Corporation in Hobbs, N.M., and for the American Trading & Producing Company, in Virginia, Kentucky and Midland.
Russell will head the district office being established by Gibraltar Oil in Midland. [Unmarked newspaper clipping.]
