Polly Temple, wife of John Temple, was mentioned in the 24 June 1808 will of her father, William Latané, proved on 21 October 1811. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 17, pages 312–313.]

Mary Temple was mentioned in the 14 August 1833 will of her brother Thomas L Latane, proved 16 October 1837. All the rest of my estate I lend to my beloved wife Mary B Latane during her life, and after her death I give all my estate to my daughter Lucy Robinson Latane, and in the event of my daughter’s dying before she arrives at the age of twenty one years leaving no child I give all my estate to my brother Henry W Latane, my sister Mary Temple and my brother William C Latane to be equally divided.
