The estate of Evan Davis, deceased, in account with Job Davis, executor, from 1807 to 1811 was ordered recorded on 18 May 1814, and included a report relating to a suit filed in chancery in which the children of Peter Davis were plaintiffs, “This Report relating to and filed in a wuit in Chancery depending in the said Court Danl. Schelling husband of Nancy Davis, Chaney Brizendine husband of Polly Davis, Samuel Williamson husband of Fanny Davis and others Plaintiffs and Sthreshly Rennolds Sheriff of Essex County committee of the Estate of Job Davis decd. who was exor of Evan Davis decd.” For Peter Davis’s share of the estate, equal distribution was made to the Daniel Shelling and wife, Chaney Brizendine and Polly his wife, Samuel Williamson and wife, Griffin Harper and wife, and to George Wiatt, guardian of Sally Davis. Samuel was mentioned in the 20 July 1826 will of his father, Abraham Williamson, proved 19 May 1829. To son Samuel Williamson that tract of land lying on the north side of the main road leading fom the Old bolting Mill to Fishers bridge. Samuel to be executor. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 21, pages 374–375.]

On 19 May 1829, Samuel Williamson, Washington H Purkins, George Gordon and George Taylor were bound in the penalty of $600 for Samuel Williamson’s execution of the estate of Abraham Williamson. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 21, page 376.]

On 22 March 1831, James Dunn and Traverse Gatewood were bound in the penalty of $1,500 for James Dunn’s administration of the estate of Samuel Williamson, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, pages 219–220.]

On 5 April 1831, sales of the estate of Samuel Williamson were made by James Dunn, administrator. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 24, pages 534–536.]

The estate of Samuel Williamson, deceased, in account with James Dunn, administrator, from 1831 to 1834 was ordered recorded 21 December 1840. On 15 March 1834, Lowry Williamson and Sthreshley Dunn (in right of his wife Janetter Dunn who was Janetter Williamson) acknowledged that they had received their respective shares of the estate. On 23 April 1834, Ro: Wright Dy for W. Lewis Sheriff & Comt: of the Est: of Ansel WmSon Decd acknowledged that he had received Ansel Williamson’s share of the estate. On 23 April 1834, William S. Croxton acknowledged that he had receive that share of the estate due to his ward Dice Williamson. On 5 December 1834, Leonard Clark acknoweldged receipt of a proportion of the estate in right of his wife as her dower, also as guardian of Dorotha Williamson, David Williamson, and Larkin George Williamson.
