On 13 March 1841, Catherine Pye was baptised in Cloonclare Church of Ireland, County Leitrim, Ireland, daughter of Simon and Grace Pye, address Moneymore. [Church of Ireland, Baptism Record.]
On 1 April 1861, John Moore married Catherine Pye in the Clooncare Church of Ireland parish/district, County Leitrim, Ireland. He was of Gortnalibert, son of Robert Moore; she was of Meeneymore, daughter of Lenon Pye; both of the Church of Ireland. [Church of Ireland, Church Marriage Record.]

On 21 December 1867, John Moore of the town of Yonkers and County of Westchester and State of New York, and Catharine his wife, sold to Robert Moore of the same place. For $700 lawful money of the United States, a parcel in the Village of Yonkers in the town of Yonkers, County of Westchester and State of New York. Beginning on the Easterly side of School Street at a point distant one hundred twenty five feet southerly from the southwesterly corner of a lot of land belonging to the School District No two of the town of Yonkers and thence running at right angles with said School Street North eighty seven and one half degrees East one hundred feet, thence south two and one half degrees East twenty five feet to land belonging to Frederick Friend; thence south eighty seven and one half degrees west along the Northerly side of said Friends land one hundred feet to the Easterly side of School Street aforesaid and thence running along the Easterly side of said school street North two and one half degrees west twenty five feet to the place of beginning. The same being a portion of a lot No Thirty six school street as laid down on map [sic] drawn by T C Carroll by order of the Board of Trustees November 1857. With the appurtenances thereunto belonging. Signed John his x mark Moore, Catharine Moore. Witness: H H Taylor. On 21 December 1867, came John Moore and Catharine his wife before H H Taylor, Justice of the Peace, to acknowledge the same as their deed, and Catharine released dower rights.
