On 31 December 1793, Bennoi Bohannon and Mary his wife of the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham sold to Thomas Bohannon of the County of King and Queen. For £7 current Money of Virginia, all the interest which is now or shall be due to him the said Bennoi Bohannon and Mary his wife of in and to a Certain Divident or parcel of land left to my wife by hur father James Boughn Situate lying and being in the County of Essex & parish of Southfarnham and Containing by Estimation Seventeen Acres and a half more or less, bordered by land of Henry Dunn, Thomas Brooke, and Thomas Allen. Signed Bennoi Bohannon, Mary her + mark Bohannon. Witnesses: Thos. Miller, William his x mark Boughn, John Crow. Memorandum states that the land was delivered by Turf and Twig. On 16 June 1794, Thomas Bohannon & Ann his wife of the County of King and Queen sold to George Rose of the County of Essex. For £20 Currant money of Virginia, a Certain Track or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the Aforesaid County of Essex Containing Thirty five Acres & a half bounded by lands of Thomas Allen and Thomas H.
