Mary Ann Croxton was mentioned in the 11 December 1760 will of her father John Haile: To Beloved Daughter Mary Ann Croxton, one Negro Girl Named January and also two Cows also two Yews. An addendum to the will stated: The provision Sarah Bloyes Negro is put out April 4th 1761 and a Negro Boy Named Peter Given to my Daughter Elizabeth Haile also two Yews to Mary Ann Croxton. Mary Ann Croxton was not mentioned in the 31 July 1775 will of her husband John Croxton, so she may have died by then.
