Benjamin Waggoner was mentioned in the 1715 will of his father John Waggoner. Benjamin received, after his mother’s death, all of his father’s land, a Negro boy Martin, one bedd and bolster, a rug, a blanket, a pot and a pan. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 15, pages 533–534.]
Benjamin Waggoner received various sundry items in the 1717 will of his mother Rachel. He was appointed executor of the will and presented the will in court on 16 September 1718. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 3, pages 39–41.]
On 16 September 1728/9, Benjamin Waggoner witnessed the will of Samuel Waggoner of the County of Essex. Benjamin signed his name Benja Wagoner. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 4, pages 312–313.]
